PaddleFest 2010 – Results are Posted and Pics are UP!

Posted in Uncategorized on July 14, 2010 by endurebear

PaddleFest 2010 continued the trend of attracting more paddlers to experience the excellent paddling to be found on Big Bear Lake.  Not much better than a mountain lake with blue skies and calm waters and plenty of canoes, kayaks, outrigger canoes and SUP’s (Stand Up Paddleboards).  From the kids race to a 30k lap around the lake there were races for everyone and every type of paddle craft.

Results are posted on the PaddleFest webpage along with a link to Scott Hoffman’s amazing photos.

Complete results will be tallied and posted soon.  Thanks to everyone who showed up, paddled, took a clinic, cheered, enjoyed the music of Elevated Roots and helped to support and promote Big Bear’s own PaddleFest.

Posted in Uncategorized on June 15, 2010 by endurebear

Sorry for the delay in communications, especially to those of you with questions and those of you interested in Conquer the Bear.

We’ve been a little bit out of cell phone range – climbing to the summit of Mt. Everest.  On May 22, 2010, we became the first family to stand on the summit of the World’s highest mountain  AND  our son Jordan became the youngest person to ever stand on the summit of this giant Himalayan mountain. (more info www.jordanromero.com)

So, we are ready… send us your questions, we’ll post information here and we look forward to seeing you all at the Mountain Bike event on Sunday.  Email us any questions and comments.

Thanks for your patience!
